This policy explains what personal information Apis Manoli collects through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. We keep it deliberately short — we collect very little.
Who we are
Apis Manoli is a family beekeeping business operated by Ion Manoli in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. We are the data controller for any personal information you provide through this website.

What we collect
When you fill out the contact form on this site we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address (if you provide one)
- Your phone number (if you provide one)
- The message you write
- The time of submission, used to prevent automated abuse
We also set one short-lived cookie called `_amc_ls`. It contains a timestamp and rate-limits the contact form to one message every two minutes per browser. It expires within two minutes and is considered strictly necessary under the ePrivacy Directive (no consent is required for it).
We do not collect, store, or process any other personal information through this website.
Why we collect it
We use the information from the contact form for one purpose only: to read your enquiry and reply to you. Our lawful basis under the GDPR is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the form, together with our legitimate interest in operating a small family business (Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making.
Who we share it with
Your message is delivered to our email inbox using Resend (https://resend.com), an email delivery service that acts as our data processor and is contractually bound by GDPR-compliant terms. You can read their privacy policy at https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
For website hosting we use Vercel (https://vercel.com); they process technical request data (IP, browser type) on our behalf to serve the website. Their privacy policy is at https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
We do not share your information with any other third party.
How long we keep it
Messages from the contact form are kept in our email inbox for as long as we may reasonably need them to respond and to maintain a record of the conversation — typically no longer than two years from your last contact. You can ask us to delete your message earlier at any time.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how this site is used. Both are cookieless, do not track you across other websites, and do not collect any data that personally identifies you. They only load if you have given consent in our cookie banner (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
You can change your choice at any time using the "Manage cookies" link in the footer.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, Moldovan Law 133/2011 on the Protection of Personal Data and equivalent regimes, you have the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you
- Have it corrected if it is wrong
- Have it deleted (the "right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict the way we process it
- Receive your data in a portable format
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any change.
